Glenita is a Stay-at-Home Mom and Co-Owner of VirginiaDella’s Tea, a loose leaf tea company she founded with her sister, named after her two grandmothers. The company is not just about tea, but about family, Glenita’s #1 passion in life. She initially worked in advertising after graduating from the University of Southern California, where she received experience in writing and marketing, and learned how to run a small business. While living in New York, Glenita worked for a community publication, NRG magazine, in Brooklyn. While there, she was a Writer, Copy Editor and Editorial Advisor. She also worked in Distribution, carrying magazines door-to-door to businesses. The members at SPY and their uplifting spirit are what inspired her desire to serve on the Board at SPY. She began as a volunteer and mentor starting in 2018. Glenita holds a Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Southern California in Communication and the Social Sciences. (1996) |
