Join us in the solution to end youth homelessness

The success of our work relies heavily on community involvement. We have several volunteer programs and events year-round that serve as a great way to learn, network, and most important, provide critical resources to our homeless youth.

Safe Place for Youth's incredible volunteers are vital partners of our mission to end youth homelessness. Their dedication and commitment to upholding our therapeutic approach in serving youth are woven into every aspect of our programs. This includes preparing and serving food, front desk management, sorting donations, running the clothing closet, street outreach, data entry, teaching yoga and art projects. Learn more about our volunteer opportunities here.

Help make a difference today by supporting SPY's programs. Any donation amount will positively impact the lives of our homeless youth. Make a donation now.

Our events are a great way to meet new people, have fun and show your support for Safe Place for Youth's mission. We have three signature events annually, in addition to smaller events surrounding particular campaigns. Our annual Gala is a celebration of our work and an opportunity to honor the people who dedicate themselves to SPY, Carnival is our family-friendly event featuring carnival games, a silent auction and live entertainment, and 100 Pieces brings together Advertising Agencies throughout Los Angeles to donate art made by their staffers to raise funds for SPY programs. Next Generation Committee

SPY’s Next Generation Committee brings young professionals together to raise awareness and funds for Safe Place for Youth. It's a great avenue for those who are committed to eradicating youth homelessness to get involved with SPY. With guidance from SPY's Development Team, the committee facilitates networking events, generates new partnerships and resources, recruits volunteers and donors, and raises funds for SPY programs. The committee meets monthly to discuss goals and upcoming events.
