Ahmed is a financial and business management professional with extensive experience in both non-profit and for-profit sectors. He has 20 plus years of experience transforming organizational-wide financial systems. Before joining Safe Place For Youth, he held the top financial position at a California-based non-profit organization that has been a supporter-driven advocacy group for clean energy and the voice of plug-in vehicle drivers across the U.S. Before that, he was the CFO at a California-based corporation specializing in complete marketing cycles providing professional training and educational classes to dental practices throughout the US. Ahmed has a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Accounting from the University of Cairo and pursued CE at the University of Alberta, Canada. He is an MCP, a certified Microsoft professional, and holds other technical certificates in the IT field. Ahmed has volunteered for years as a speaker at educational institutions on the subject of values and ethics.
