Cederrick Ashley

Director of Access & Engagement Programs

Dedicated to creating meaningful change and equity in the world, Cederrick provides a wide variety of knowledge and expertise to Safe Place for Youth (SPY) with over 8 years of experience as a Director in nonprofits. Before working with SPY, Cederrick was a fire service member as a firefighter EMT and worked in veteran services as a peer support specialist assisting fellow veterans experiencing homelessness. Cederrick also gives back to his local community as a member of Social Justice Partners (SJP Los Angeles) Racial Equity in Homelessness Fellowship dedicated to advancing equity and creating healing spaces for all.


A graduate of Florida A&M University with a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Cederrick is also completing his final classes on his way to earning an MBA from Indiana Wesleyan University.
