Senior Director of Development and Communications
Savannah Benton is the Senior Director of Development and Communications at Safe Place for Youth. A Fulbright Fellowship Recipient with a decade of experience in the nonprofit sector at home and internationally, Savannah has worked with organizations at every level to grow, refine, and enhance their fundraising strategies. She has worked alongside incredible organizations in youth development, international humanitarianism, and the arts including Heart of Los Angeles (HOLA), California State Summer School Arts Foundation, and the Malaysian-American Commission on Educational Exchange. Previously, Savannah served as Associate Director of Individual Giving at HOLA, where her data-driven campaigns helped triple individual and corporate contributions. She also proudly chaired the Fundraising and Community Engagement Equity Committee.
Savannah believes the best work is done together. She is passionate that connecting individuals and companies to authentic opportunities for social good can make a lasting difference. She enjoys reading, writing, and playing beach volleyball on the weekends.
