Volunteer Coordinator
Sharon comes to SPY with a work history exclusively centered on the non-profit sector. From her experience working with the Saban L.A Free Clinic to the Posse Foundation, Sharon is still wondering why she graduated with a degree in Economics from UCLA.
Sharon started at SPY as a volunteer in 2016. Initially, she focused solely on serving food because it was a way to meet all of the members, as well as witness the generosity and support they give to one another -- even when there is only one donut left. She joined the staff at SPY in 2018 as Volunteer Coordinator.
Volunteers at SPY are in the unique and highly valued position of often being amongst the first to have interactions with new members. Sharon places a very high value on supporting the dedication of our volunteer, as well as making sure those interactions honor the people we are serving.
