Ly Nguyen, Secretary
Ly Nguyen has been involved with nonprofits supporting homeless youth for over 12 years. She started doing street outreach at Berkeley, CA then Los Angeles, CA. Each conversation she had with youth over the years inspired her to support Safe Place for Youth's mission.
Ly is the co-founder and CEO of Leigh & Siena, a direct-to-consumer fashion brand. Prior to that, she was a manager at Bain & Company where she advised senior executives on growth strategy, operational improvement, and organizational redesign. Ly also worked for multiple education and youth development organizations including the Partnership for Los Angeles Schools and Green Dot Public Schools. Ly serves on the national board of Green Dot Public Schools, a network of public charter schools.
Ly holds a bachelor's degree in Business and French from UC Berkeley and an MBA from the Wharton School of Business.
