Hi Friend,
Because of you, our End Youth Homelessness campaign raised hundreds of thousands to change lives for unhoused youth in LA!
Your generosity opened doors to housing, clinical care, and healing programs, while providing essentials such as hygiene kits, clean clothing, and hot meals. Additionally, this campaign helped launch our newest and largest housing site, The Meadow at Melrose! Thanks to you, newly housed youth received welcome home kits as they find new hope with SPY. Due to your transformative contributions, SPY now provides over 160 beds for unhoused youth.
None of this would be possible without YOU! Your support, belief, and compassion move our mission forward every day.

Start your year off strong by signing up for the LA 5K! All paces and ages are welcome to join on March 7, 2026 at the legendary Dodger Stadium.
Your impact goes beyond the course. When you register, you’ll fundraise a minimum of $150, with a suggested goal of $1,000, directly benefiting over 1,200 unhoused youth through housing, case management, education and employment pathways, and more. Every step and every dollar fuels long-term stability and opportunities for unhoused youth in LA. Let’s go the distance for our community!

A Pathway home: December
7 SPY youth exited to permanent housing in December! What an incredible way to end 2025.
Congratulations to SPY member Markess for moving into his new apartment!
After participating in SPY’s Host Home program for a year, Markess has moved into a place he can finally call his own. With the guidance of SPY’s case managers, Markess maintained stable employment and turned his housing goals into a reality. We’re so proud of Markess for building the future he’s been working hard to achieve!

Holiday gift giveaway recap
The holiday magic was in full swing last month during our Annual Holiday Gift Giveaway! To spread the winter cheer, members received warm blankets, shoes, headphones, speakers, water bottles, and more, bringing comfort, fun, and festivities to the season.
Over 200 gifts were generously donated from our wishlist, and every item was lovingly wrapped by our incredible volunteers, spreading joy and celebration to the SPY community.
